POLICIES, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

TERMS OF SALE: Net 30 days from date of shipment for qualified accounts. Qualified accounts have been approved for credit and have a signed credit application and resale certificate on fi le. Classic Products Corp. accepts Visa, Master Card and American Express credit cards for accounts wishing to avoid C.O.D. charges. Credit card sales require a valid credit card number, cvv2# (located on the back of the card) and the mailing address of the credit card statement. We will only ship to the address of the card holder. Overseas accounts please contact our sales offices for bank wire transfer information. An interest charge of 1.5% per month, which is equivalent to 18% per annum, will be charged on all outstanding balances in excess of our credit terms. Accounts not current will not be allowed to deduct freight and may lose any pricing columns they may be on.

MAINTENANCE AND/OR FORFEITURE OF CREDIT ACCOMMODATIONS: Accounts that are delinquent sixty days or more will be placed on C.O.D. and will forfeit all volume pricing columns. Volume prices have been designed for volume customers who qualify and pay Classic in a timely manner. In addition, orders may be held pending payment.

SAME-DAY SHIPPING All orders for in stock bowling supplies called in by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard/Daylight Savings time will be shipped the same day or Classic Products will pay freight charges, PROVIDING THE ACCOUNT IS CURRENT. Orders by common carrier will be shipped within 24 hours. NO SAME DAY SHIPPING GUARANTEE ON SPECIAL ORDER BALL SPECS SUCH AS "PIN PLACEMENT, TOP AND TOTAL WEIGHT".

FREIGHT DEDUCTIBLE PROGRAM: Raw Freight is deductible for any ONE INVOICE of $450 or more of CURRENT, IN-STOCK merchandise shipped from any one of our four distribution centers, provided the account is current and the invoice is paid in 30 days. Insurance, Hazardous Charges and Handling Charges are NOT DEDUCTIBLE. This offer is good in the Continental USA only and for UPS/FedEx ground zones 2, 3, 4, and 5 only. This offer excludes bowling pins and capital equipment items.

FREE C.O.D. CHARGES: United Parcel Service and Federal Express C.O.D charges will not be charged on orders of $1000 or more of current in stock merchandise of one shipment to one location.

1000 Common Carrier In-Stock Freight Deductible Program: Raw Freight is deductible for any ONE INVOICE of $1000 or more of CURRENT, IN-STOCK merchandise shipped from any one of our three warehouses, provided the account is current and the invoice is paid in 30 days. This policy is good in the Continental USA only. This offer excludes bowling pins and capital equipment items. Common carrier shipments must be prepaid for C.O.D. accounts to receive any freight charge deduction.

BAD CHECKS: Any checks returned will be assessed a $30.00 bank charge and the account may be placed on a cash basis.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: A $5.00 charge will be put on orders for each specific mass bias bowling balls.

BACKORDERS: Classic Products calls on all backorders and also will allow customers to add on to backorders so they can get up to the $450 freight deductible amount.

RETURN POLICY

RETURN TO STOCK ITEMS:

Please contact Customer Service at 800-444-0123 or cservice@classicproducts.com to obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA).

You will need to provide proof of purchase (a Classic Invoice number) to receive an RA number. This Return Authorization number MUST accompany all returned merchandise to be considered for credit; therefore it needs to be obtained PRIOR to the return of product.

  • Merchandise returned without a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER will be returned to the sender, all freight charges will be billed to the customer's account.
  • ONLY merchandise listed on the return authorization will be accepted. Classic reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on any merchandise returned not on the return authorization.
  • Shipping charges for Return to Stock items will be the customer's responsibility.
  • Return to Stock merchandise must be current, in its original container and shipped with outer protective packaging and be in new, resalable condition.
  • All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee after 31 days from the invoice date, and the original shipping charges will not be refunded.
  • Discontinued, closeout, and used equipment is sold on an "All sales final" basis and may not be returned for credit.
  • Opened chemicals (cleaners, conditioners) and hazardous materials CANNOT be returned
  • Return items over 90 days from the invoice date will not be accepted.
  • Classic Products MUST be notified within 24 hours of receipt if there has been an order entry or shipping error for a credit to be issued.

Once product is returned and received into inventory, a credit will be applied to your account. Please allow 7–10 days for your credit to be applied.

REFUSED PACKAGES (by the customer): Customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges, a 10% restocking fee, and the original shipping charges will NOT be refunded.

DAMAGES / SHORTAGES: If you receive damaged merchandise or package count shortages, it is advised to refuse delivery and make note of the incident on the bill of lading or other delivery record. Please save the merchandise, along with all of its original packaging. In order to follow carriers' claim time restrictions, you should immediately notify Classic Products of the damage or shortage within 24 hours of receipt by contacting Customer Service at 800-444-0123. Customer Service will arrange for carrier inspection and/or pick up of the damaged merchandise, and assist with replacement of the merchandise. If you do not notify Classic Products of damaged goods within 24 hours, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions.

DEFECTIVE RETURNS / WARRANTIES:
Please contact Customer Service at 800-444-0123 or cservice@classicproducts.com to obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER for DEFECTIVE returns. Defective merchandise can be returned directly to Classic Products for account credit. You will need to provide proof of purchase to receive an RA number. This Return Authorization Number MUST accompany all returned merchandise to be considered for credit; therefore it needs to be obtained prior to the return of product.

Once the defective item(s) is returned and received, a credit will be applied to the customer's account or an exchange will be provided based on the manufacturer's guidelines and warranty acceptance. A call tag does not guarantee credit until an item is approved by the manufacturer. We reserve the right to bill a customer back for credit given if the manufacturer denies the return.

WARRANTIES: Classic Products acts as an agent of the manufacturers; we support and apply warranties as maintained by each individual manufacturer. Warranties do vary between manufacturers. Listed below are general guidelines to follow for products:

  • Plugged or drilled through the pin are not allowed (warranty voided)
  • Cracks around finger or thumb holes with grips or inserts are not allowed (warranty voided)
  • Some manufacturers have the warranty policy printed on the outside of the bowling ball package
Classic House Balls: 2 years from date of purchase.
Bowling Shoes: 90 day warranty (start date from sale to consumer)
Bowling Accessories: 30 day warranty (start date from sale to consumer)
Bowling Bags: Some manufacturers have the warranty policy printed on the tag attached to the bag with most being for replacement bag and/or parts.
